Our trip to Solihull Synagogue…

Today we visited our local Synagogue to find out more about the Jewish faith. We met the Rabbi’s assistant and he showed us the Holy Scrolls and talked to us in Hebrew!

Making Patterns

Yesterday we completed our Art work, making patterns by drawing them on to a tile and then painting them to create a print. We worked in pairs or threes to produce a collage of our work!

They will be on display very soon in the corridor…

Year 5 Fiver Project

This month, all of the children from year 5 have taken part in the Fiver Project.  They’ve all worked really hard individually and as part of groups to set up mini businesses to create products or services: this has all started with each child in the year group having £5 to spend towards merchandise or however they saw fit for their company.  The aim of this project is to sell their items at a profit, engage with their local community (other year groups in our school) and become entrepreneurs.

Check out the video below to watch 5CS’s advertisement, it will show you a selection of some of the fantastic stalls that will be on offer on Thursday 25th June.  This is aimed for year 3, 4 and 6 children.  We are looking forward to seeing you then! 🙂
